Exciting cuisine
Steve and Vivienne are accomplished cooks, able to provide high quality meals at reasonable prices each evening. Dinner starts with aperitifs (optional extra charge) in the lounge or on the terrace if the evening is fine. Dinner is served around eight and generally consists of three courses with coffee or tea as an option at the close. There is a varied wine list offering quality French wines from both local and other regional producers.
Luxury continental breakfast is served in the dining room from 08:30 until 10:00 on weekdays and Saturday and from 09:00 until 10:30 on Sundays. Guests may choose from various nutritional cereals, a range of yoghourts, porridge(in the spring and autumn), croissant and brioche, a full range of preserves, toast and hot beverages. A cooked English breakfast is also available as an option. At certain times of the year special gourmet evenings have proved quite popular. If you are staying around the house for the day lunch is available, just let us know at breakfast time. For walkers we can provide packed food or we will recommend a convenient auberge where you can enjoy a traditional 'Plat du Jour.'
If you feel like an evening away from the Chateau we can recommend many good local restaurants offering the full range of dishes at prices to suit everyone. If you want to leave the car back at base transport to and from the venue is available at a small extra charge.
